Jasmine Agurs is a Multidisciplinary Artist based in Baltimore.
Jasmine is an artist based in Baltimore who specializes in print media, sculpture, illustration, painting, and book arts. She enjoys any sort of medium that is hands on. Her work is inspired by the environment and nature that surrounds her. Jasmine’s work has been exhibited at UMBC.
Jasmine is highly interested clinical psychology and art therapy. She is currently looking into the effects of art therapy on children who experience traumatic events or have severe mental disorders. She has also previously researched the effects of art therapy as a form of rehabilitation on the incarcerated population while earning her undergraduate degree. She has worked as a rehabilitation counselor for Humanim and has held internships at MedStar Harbor Hospital.
Jasmine has a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Print Media.
